Hi, I’m Amanda!
Through my own journey, I’ve come to understand how deeply our systems are connected. By nurturing the mind-body connection and honouring our symbiotic relationship with the natural world, we can open pathways to healing and create space for transformation. My personal and continued journey of healing my own body, mind, and connection to the land, informs my work and deepens the empathy I bring to the therapeutic relationship. My ability to support others through this work has been built on the foundation of learning to support myself through the ebs and flows of life, challenge, and resilience.
It is truly my privilege to be invited into the human experience in its most intimate and vulnerable moments.
I am passionate about building community and sustainable lifestyle, and when I am not in session with clients, I spend much of my time with my community, in the forest, or on the ocean at home on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia.
I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).
I am dedicated to a lifetime of growth and learning and I continue to strengthen and refine my skills and understanding of what it means to show up as a mental health practitioner in our world today.
Please ask any questions you may have about my continued training and preparation for our work together.
