Hi, I’m Amanda!
Through my own journey, I’ve come to understand how deeply our systems are connected.
By nurturing the mind-body connection and honouring our symbiotic relationship with the natural world, we can open pathways to healing and create space for transformation. My lived experience with chronic illness and relational trauma informs my work and deepens the empathy I bring to the therapeutic relationship. I am passionate about building community and sustainable lifestyle, and when I am not in session with clients, I spend much of my time with my community, in the forest, or on the ocean at home on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia.
I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).
I am dedicated to a lifetime of growth and learning and I continue to strengthen and refine my skills and understanding of what it means to show up as a mental health practitioner in our world today.
Please ask any questions you may have about my training and preparation for our work together.
