My Approach

A foggy forest with dense trees fading into the misty sky.

My approach is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and respect for your unique journey. I work from a holistic, trauma-informed, and relational and attachment-focused perspective, drawing from somatic practices, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Internal Family Systems (parts work).

I often blend a body-first approach with evidence-based therapies to support both nervous system regulation and emotional healing. This means exploring ways to soothe your body as a pathway to relieving your mind. This might include mindfulness, grounding techniques, self-compassion practices, or gentle exploration of the patterns that shape your inner world and relationships. Working with all of your “young parts,” with the intention of rebuilding your relationship to self.

In our sessions, we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable, creating space to slow down and tune into what your body and emotions are trying to tell you. Some sessions I am there just to listen, while other sessions can be used to gently untangle the threads that create your inner world. We will honour your needs as they evolve day-to-day, session-to-session, and shape this journey together.

I am committed to providing support that is neurodiversity-affirming and identity-affirming, where you can show up exactly as you are. Together, we’ll build on your resilience, deepen self-understanding, and create pathways toward stability, connection, and authentic growth.

Therapeutic Offerings

  • I invite you to book in a free 15-minute consultation (by phone or video) as a chance to get a feel for one another, chat about what you’re looking for, and explore how I may be able to offer my support. This consultation also offers the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about me or the counselling process.

This offering comes as a starting point, with no obligation, and can be used as a space to gather resources around what alternative supports are available for you in our community.
